    Communities/Redstone Capture The Flag

    Simple way would be have a pressure plate with a dispenser loaded with the flag. Then at the base have a hopper with a comparator/sorter with the flag setup to fire off a fire work or something interesting. No command blocks, no plugins needed.

    Some these already exist, and some are available as plugins. Like MobTargeting, Critical hits, music cds, shooting stars, can all be done with the right setup.

    Home Locator, compass and f3? or minimap mod

    Hand grenade? Isn't that just like Instant Damage Splash potion?

    Cool list just I think with a bit of research and creative thought you could cut it down.

    Java is not one of the first languages I would recommend learning if you want to program. It is very object oriented which means requires abstract thinking on the level that an amateur or hobby programmer just won't be able to comprehend in order to get a minecraft plugin done in a reasonable time.
    I learned Java as an elective in college for computer science. It really helps to have a firm grasp of coding before attempting the language.

    What's your GroupManager Config? Also does it say anything when you startup your server about essentials chat?

    Kudos to the thread starter on actually applying game knowledge to a real world test.

    As for me, who knows what I would be doing, but running a server network has taken up alot of my time this year and at the end of it I have a sense of accomplishment. Even if it is "just a game" as some stated.

    How long did you wait? Those boxes are feed through frames from a different location.
    You might just be down at the time. I would recommend trying to view source of the frames and see what errors you get.
    For the record, I can use chat fine

    A server admin is probably using your username and just voting for you everyday. It's underhanded, against the rules, but I've seen it happened.

    Try voting somewhere you haven't before (ever) and see if there is a problem.

    You can use /region <regionname> info to figure out what is going on with the region and if it's properly setup. If you did passthru flag anywhere you will have to fix that. Post what you get with info and that will vastly help.

    Make the water source in a safe area and flow to the area to be protected.
    Funnel people to one area by using hard to break blocks to lower the amount of time you have to spend defending the area with water.
