    Christmas PVP Just had an unexpected turn. I was planning to release in both 1.8 and 1.17, but It was just brought to my attention, that you cannot port new maps to old versions of the game, because of coding differences. In the future, I will create my maps in 1.8 and THEN port to 1.17, but I didn't have such foresight.

    I will be porting my map to 1.8 in a few days (here) so if you have any more ideas or details to make the map more interesting, leave them below. Once I port my map, It will be extremely hard to add changes.

    1. Tbh, I suck as a builder too. But my #1 tip, is to add little details to make your builds more interesting, like adding some andesite or stairs to a plain stone wall.

    2. It really depends, If you're going for a natural look, then asymmetrical, and If your going for more of an Industrial man-made kind of build, then symmetrical.

    3. Flat worlds in most cases, as they are much easier to manipulate, without random trees, hills, and caves being in your way.

    Hello!

    So, I am starting work on a Christmas Themed PvP map, and I'm looking for Ideas!

    Do you have any personal preference on what should be in a Christmas Themed map? Any Ideas to make it more interesting? Anything that you would want/need, in order for it to be fit for a server?

    (The map will be free to use on your server, without having to credit me!)
