I'm looking to win this time. Although I've been a finalist for the last three competitions I've never made it to the top 10, let alone top 5. Well, I worked hard, really hard (much harder than I have before) and tried a whole new more detailed style. To victory! (Top 3 is fine also )

Hmm. I LOVE the concept, but I think the execution could use a little touching up. Personally I always try to steer clear of the "creeper" face, mabye replace that with a little meteor instead? I would also really randomize the saturation, color and brightness of some of those stars.

The earth looks brilliant, and so do the sun and the moon on the back.
Imo I think it'd look even better (even though it looks pretty dang good now) if you changed the head into a meteor (which will make the flames an amazing addition) and find something to do with all that black. Mabye change up the shade/saturation instead of just solid #000000.

HappybandaidThe Judges have keen eyes, and our diamonds count for much more than any normal diamond. This is called a Judgevote. :]

So worry not, a better skin with a couple Judgevotes but not many diamonds can easily beat out a mediocre one with a lot of regular community diamonds.

Generally, only a couple skins that haven't been voted on by Judges get into the top 100, on their own community diamond power alone. Comments and downloads also slightly factor into this.

Also, there is no way to tell if a Judge has given a diamond to a contest skin or not, but usually they comment if they really like a skin (although this does not necessarily mean they voted for it, in some cases!).


I guess I'm one of the couple skins that get in without a judge vote O.o Unless they secretely bookmarked it and diamonded it without writing a comment.

I uploaded this a while ago, and as I think I'm finally happy with how it has turned out, I decided to share it here.


In case you were wondering, it's an Alphyn. A heraldic creature that has parts from dragons, griffins, wolves and some other stuff too.

Hopefully It'll make it to the finals.
