230 mods isn't that much for an expert modpack (I hope its gonna be expert modpack xd) but it depends on what mods are installed. There aren't many big mods right now. There are some optimization mods but not that much cuz I have bad experience with optimization on forge, always something breaks
But I still lag when I'm loading chunks and joining world and launching takes a while cuz of my potato pc
