Also the map would probably be 3.5k x 3.5k blocks (because of factions or guilds controlling their own land.) Which would probably extend farther outward if the play saw fit (normal generation at that point.)

Yes that's perfect ! Its great that you reminded me about the story or 'lore'; I've been meaning to implement a story but. I was trying to get a map finalized so a team of 4-8 could help me build based on a story I would have written with a couple people who would help write with me ! And yes I to love many magnificent buildings with lots of architecture.

Thanks for the help! Now at least I have a broad idea of what I would like.

p.s.: What do you mean by 'Score Counter'? Do you mean to the affect where players are on a scoreboard with a level (like mcmmo). And to level up they work on a skill or pit themselves against each other in exchange for exp? Like two players fight and bet two levels and whoever wins gets the levels? Because if so that sounds very very interesting.

Basically I'm trying to make the entire map a medival /fantasy themed world that people can explore and roleplay in (sort of like the Rise of Kings server.) But with a factions base. So I there should be alot of mountains and cliffs?

Long story short... you cant find decent parts under 333$ ( ~300 euros). i just cant be done.... Your talking about getting a new desktop with 4gbs of ram and a 2.5ghz proccesor and you plan to run Skyrim and Arma2... I woul expand your budget to 500-1200 because the best you could do with 333$ would be wasted on the CPU and motherboard at the most! At the least you could throw in the cd drive or 2gbs ram

I would just like a simple one (hopefully). My IGN is well J3xis.

What I would like is my character holding a sword over his shoulder, staring at the sky from a forest. And since i plan to use this as a signature/ server banner. Could you position the avatar to the left of the veiw point?

I would think if they are voting for the diamonds they like the server... And I mself as a server owner think its a good idea because unless you give the player base something to work then they wont feel like trying to help you out or the server. The key point in running a good server is keeping a steady flow of happy players and donators so you can keep running and expanding

I honestly will buy it (hopefully today since the site isnt being DDOSd). and I recommend you get it because if your like me and enjoy a good RPG game that was inspired by multiple other games then I think you will enjoy it! I also want it because its an RPG that I can relate to and is quite easy to play!

p.s. to all you nay sayers out there! Just because its a game you think 'you won't like'. then dont bash it on the forums! Yes you have your own opinion but keep it to yourself! Wollay the creator spent 3 years developing this and its already decent enough to play!! And its just him and his wife working on it, and that makes it hard for them to run everything themselves!

Help/JavaEdition Problem with new Minecraft Launcher! Please Help.

Diggy_1I just downloaded the new Minecraft Launcher for 1.6.2, and when I put in my user name and everything and click "PLAY" it loads up to about halfway. In the development console tab, this message repeats over and over again: "Couldn't download https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Reso ... c/hal4.ogg for job 'Resources' " I deleted the .minecraft and redownloaded the launcher countless times but the same happens. Anyone know what the problem could be?


Most likely you have norton or windows virus protection.

but i dont think the anti-virus has anything to do with that. I think it has to do with the jars. My guess is that you modded the jars in 1.5.2 (if you have MC since then) and something flubbed up when it came to reinstalling the jar. In the 1.6.2 launcher try to make a new profile with the same jar and it should redownload MC by itself the right way and correct itself

When I first started to play Minecraft. I used the 'illegal' version as a demo to see if i wanted to buy it. And when i spawned in my first world I found a hole in a mountain to live in where I was assulted by 4 zombies.... and that was 2 minutes into the game xD

Sadly, no Wollay does not work with mojang he quit after accepting the job because he wants " control over his own creations ". So he left mojang. But I also think that later on mojang will just purchase partenership with wollay and pixxie (husband and wife) because the game itself is very impressive, and that way Mojang can keep a handle on things, but also keep wollay and make him happy to let him do what he wants with the game.

Also, I would LOVE! to buy cube world for the sake of it being a great RPG inspired by many games i.e. not a Minecraft copy. And for goodness sake I would like a selection when it comes to games like this!

There is no real motherboard made for gaming. But if you want a decent one look for an ATX sixed one with at least 2 PCI-e x16 /x8 slots for GPUs and other PCI cards and make sure that it is ultra durable like Gigabytes Ultra Durable 5 series, that way you can run your CPU faster and get better performance [ I have the F2A85X-UP4 130$].

More tips for gaming computer:

CPU wise I would get the AMD A10 5800K because it already comes with a set of Radeon HD 6670 graphics integration and 3.8Ghz (amazing for only 130$!) for the power supply if you plan on doing alot of gaming get at least 600 watts like the Corsair Builder series CX600 65$-80$ . Hard drive if you want to save money i suggest a 250 Gb or 320 Gb for like 40$ but I got a 1.5 Terrabyte for 70$. I also suggest 4-8 gb RAM from G.Skills or Corsair because it can handle most tasks easily for around 40$. But I have 16Gb because it is great for anything and everything 70$-120$. Graphics cards.. aren't needed but do help with the cross firing to take a load off the cpu so i suggest AMD radeon 6670 to crossfire with the APU but if you like Nivida get the GTX 650 /ti because by itself it can do more than the APU . All together this is a great build by itself which makes it even better because it can do most things with out any accessories like water cooling untis or ssds (which are very very helpful.) If you want pictures of the items I just listed above and below just pm me. I have them on my desk right now. Also if you have any questions Ill be happy to answer them!

Also NOTE: Ive been doing this for some time and if you feel a bit uncomfortable putting together a computer i build custom computers for people on eBay and in my local town.

Don't forget there are many ways to make a computer and this is just one. This in my opinion is the best but, its MY OPINION.

Minecraft/Servers starting a minecraft server, need help!

Since this is not a STAFF..... recruitment I'll be the first to be helpful! Now, I think a few plugins to start with should be :

1. Essentials (all basic commands and more impressive one ) RECOMMENED [its on 90% of servers!]

2. CoreProtect (May need MySQL./ Its to rollback griefs and lava and fire ETC.)

3. Opt. Factions ( A personal favorite and i also know form experience about 75% of servers use this no matter what type it is!)

4. PermissionsEX (Now if you want ranks i recommend doing this, because you can edit permissions/prefixes/ranks in game.) [ I can set them up myself for FREE in a matter of 10mins - 2hrs. based on how the Owner wants everything)

5. Opt. Lockette ( A chest locking plugin / that people like to use so griefing is lessened)

6. Opt. Multiverse (A multiple world plugin[ Let's you play on and set up different worlds!])

Now those are my top 5-6 and I cant seem to remember any others ATM but if you want more info PM me! my skype is dj3xis IGN: J3xis and im avaliable fri. - sun. most weeks and some times in afternoons during the week

Documentation : Now i would! But sadly due to the recent fail and rebirth of my laptop all pictures/videos/voice recordings, have been lost!

Reason to join : I want to join because when I play with friends I am quoted to be hilarious and funny, and thought it would be fun to try making videos! But since I am crap at being funny alone i decided to go back to having a laugh with friends. Also because of my experience with videos before I am given a good idea of the work involved and needed to function a suitable series.
