I like the font choices, shadows, etc. I created a portfolio and it looked just like that, but I had an image as a background. After about 3 weeks I got tired of it. It was boring. Good idea is to add more of a layout, a center wrapper, column for extra information and a footer. Pictures make it look more stylish. Also, come up with a good looking color scheme.

Use a main color (background, text etc), 2 alternate colors (they have to match with each other, i.e., neon blue and neon purple). A great website to get colors is http://colorpicker.com - very helpful, gives you the hex and everything.

I have been playing guitar since I was 3. Easiest starter and the best way to learn theory etc is to start with acoustic guitar. If you are feeling good with chords etc, learn electric (power chords, bar chords) etc..

When you feel comfortable with those, bass comes REALLY easy. It will come easy because you will know scales, keys, strings, etc... GUITAR FIRST (ACOUSTIC)

You can do it.


But yes, definitely start with acoustic - even if you don't think it's the right decision, it will make all other instruments easier.
