I don't think there will ever be a way to fix the damage MCreator has done. All we can do now, is to hope.
Well, I don't personally hate MCreator. I know it makes modding easy, and little work is required to make them. Although, You can't post any of those mods on PMC or Minecraftforums, as it's not the personal user's coding, it's MCreators. They can't cause as much damage if they didn't ever appear on PMC or MCforums. There are no well known mods made by MCreator, so it's not having too much effect on the community. People still take time to create awesome mods these days, and I don't see MCreator users coming in, and being admired for their mods(as they can't). So please explain to me how MCreator ruined the modding experience for Minecraft? Did they ruin the community of modders? Do you see MCreator mods spamming up the Mods section? Sorry, just trying to state my opinion.
MCreator gave people an opportunity to be lazy, and NOT learn java, and NOT learn coding. As MCreator is growing more and more popular, sites like this won't be able to handle it. It says straight forward that program-generated content is strictly forbidden, but fine for one's personal use. Yes, it's fine for one's personal use, I think so too. But please, PLEASE, you may say, DO NOT post them here!
Also: "Do you see MCreator mods spamming up the Mods section?" Yes. Yes I do. I see it all the time. MCreator is almost the only thing we see in the mods section nowadays. Take note that I said 'almost'. So, yeah.
