If they play it to try out the game, I do not care. I will be honest, when I first saw Minecraft I tought it looked really retarted, but everyone was hyping it, so I tought it was worth a shot. Before I bought the game, I tried a ''Free'' version of Survival, because the game really didn't look like it's worth 10 euro.
So, I played it for like ~5 houres, found it the best game I've seen and played, and bought it.

So, Piracy games are not too bad, aslong people dont stick with it.

Just go to http://www.Minecraftforums.net And go to the modding section, make a thread and write something like
REQUEST | <Your request>

And be sure you are clear in the description what you want.

Minecraft/Servers need survival island partner

If you want to play survival with someone, but sure you provide the server yourself, I got my doubts there is anyone out there wanting to run a (secondary) server to play with a stranger.

#EDIT: Settings up a server goes faster then asking people... Just be sure you have atleast 500mb of RAM if you wanna play with 2.

Try to remove your .minecraft folder, reinstall minecraft, place the texture pack back in and try again.

(Be sure you back-up your save files first!)
