Here's what happened to me:
I made a regular survival world, but amplified. I was on top of a giant mountain, so I started walking until I saw a large entity that was greenish reddish, I thought maybe it was a messed up creeper, so I walked on until I found a neat roofed forest, so I started to gather wood to build a house on top of a giant mountain, but then I saw more of those greenish reddish things, I thought it was just more messed up creepers, but it was during the day. I don't know what is going on, but I've never seen this since Alpha.
