I have a custom windows PC, and shaders barely work on it. I get maybe 10 Fps max. Your mac may support them, but in my experience using macs, they never have great GPUs allthough I have gotten lite shaderpacks working on macs before. Sonic Ether's will not work on a mac, but many other packs will. However, you will only get around 5-10 fps.
Even if you did get it to work, the server could only support maybe three or four players, and there would be crazy server lag. I have tried it many times, and failed.
Are you looking for minigames that you put on a server. If you are, then I suggest the most obviously named plugin for that. If you are running bukkit, head on over to BukkitDev and download the plugin called Minigames.
When you post the server, PMC will give you a code to change the MOTD to. I will tell you how to do that step by step. Step 1. Stop your server Step 2. Open the server.properties in a text editor like notepad Step 3. Change the line that says MOTD= to MOTD=PMCXXXXXXXXXX (your code) Step 4. Start your server. Profit.
Are you using their automated installer? If not, I'm sorry I cant put links on right now because I don't remember the forge download link off the top of my head and I am posting this from school and forge is blocked at school Also, if you are using the forge installer and it installs successfully, It will install forge as a new version in your launcher. To launch it, go to Edit Profile then choose Version and look for the Forge version you installed. If you have any questions, let me know!
There are three possible reasons why mobs arent spawning. 1. Your difficulty is set to peaceful 2. Hostile mobs need darkness to spawn. Pigs, cows, sheep, bunnies, and horses all need light and grass to spawn 3. Game rule mob-spawning is set to false. Turn it on with /gamerule mob-spawning true
