you can dye wolves collars to different colors why not beds? Minecraft is not meant to be realistic please contact me when I can create a portal to hell with a few matches and some obsidian that I mined from a dungeon below my house

Oh add to the list:
+ When you get to the top of the nether there is bedrock, but if you are in creative you can tunnel up the bedrock and not encounter empty space, but the bottom of the normal Minecraft world.
+ Be able to dye beds
+ Fish NPCs so I cant fish in a 2x2 square
+ More things to do with a Nether Star. You have to beat The Wither AND THEN use all your minerals to craft a pyramid and then a beacon?

I feel like the currency of Minecraft should not be able to be used to make like weapons it just doesnt fit so if emeralds were anything else they probably couldnt be like tools....but I agree they should be more.

Crossbow would be nice but making bolts is a hassle so they would have to do something different there...

Craftable Command Blocks may not be the best idea. It's too abusive. You craft the block then have it so you can change your gamemode with a push of a button. They already have single player commands so its about the same thing

Craftable Saddles. yes.

Yes! I say they should really take most of the stuff that doesnt do with machinery from tekkit and just implement it already. If they added like a bunch of machinery and stuff thats different, but if they slid in like Iron Furnaces, Gold/Diamond/Crystal Chests, Blast Resistant Stone/Glass/Doors that would just be cool!

+ Red Dragons
+ Rubies (I mean its freaking minecraft there should be more minerals)
+ More things to do in a Desert Temple
+ NPC Races
+ Cauldrons become some sort of oven (Must bake potatoes in oven for example)
+ Be able to rename the author of a Book and Quill
- Remove Herobrine

I'd love to see cauldrons picked up as maybe an oven sort of thing because right now they are only for like one thing. Maybe to bake potatoes you have to put it in the cauldron first?
I'd love to see Mojang actually implement red dragons finally into the game.
Desert temples need some sort of objective. It kinda sucks once you find out that the chest is under the piece of wool and then that's it. Maybe have some sort of puzzle to keep people occupied for a while (underground maze then boss fight?)
Let us dye our beds. Jesus.
Dinnerbone has done a great job of starting to take mods for the game and put them in, so Id love to see some low-tune popular mods into the game. Beds was a mod, remember? Nothing like Technic extreme, but I think different races of villagers to keep the game dynamic would help a lot. Low key stuff like that is what really makes minecraft great.
