as free to play games, the amount of money Hoyoverse in general draws in is crazy
I have sunk a lot of time into Genshin, and been playing star rail since it came out, I think i bought a battlepass once in both of them, the microtransactions are super expensive, and free2play is viable in both of them (esp star rail) and of course gatcha mechanics are super cringe
they are both decent games, and on the current garbageware that is the free2play video game market (on any device) both star rail and Genshin are excellent choices for actual story driven games, the amount of money in the games allows them to deliver solid soundtracks, cutscenes (and fanservice) i don't have plans to stop playing them anytime soon. The recent expansions in both of the games have been excellent with solid storytelling, soundtracks and everything.'
if anyone plays and wants help/boss support/character support in either game, gimme a shout, i got too many well built characters going to waste
