These templates are great and all, don't get me wrong, but a lot of the Minecraft server scene, including myself, uses Enjin for their websites.

Are you doing this simply for the experience with HTML and CSS or are you just looking to get some templates out there?

There is certainly a huge difference in maturity between younger and older kids, no doubt, but I usually do not discriminate against younger children.

One of the only things that really ticks me off is the fact that younger minecrafters, around the age of 10-14, seem to take on "trolling" as a hobby. That is when I lose respect and my agism switch turns on.

I also do not like it when kids intentionally try to be somone they aren't, especially when they are extremely bad at it. There was on boy that came on my server today and told me that he could write bukkit plugins for me. He then told me that everything he wrote was in Javascript, and that Java and Javascript were the same.

Needless to say, I had a lot of fun teaching that kid a few lessons.

I agree with this guy. If you want to have a good blog, you need to make your own ideas. Writers block is a part of every blogger's career, but when you get an idea, run with it, no matter how big or how small.

With a little bit of brain power, I'm sure anyone could handle a permissions system, maybe even you!

if you're going to set up a long term system for permissions, especially if you are running multiple worlds, I suggest bPermissions. It is perfect for multiworld enviornments, infact I use it on my server to keep the permission configurations between my creative amd survival worlds seperate, as well as configure groups just the way I want them (per world ofcourse)

Also, if you're looking for some help, I suggest visiting their IRC chat channel. I think it is #bananacode. They can give you some useful tips regarding a lot of different topics.

I hope some of this helps, and remember when coding permissions: YAML aint markup language.

I've noticed with my time on the Magic World pack that a lot of the pack was just released as a pack for people to play on while the major packs update. I'm not sure if the ArsMagica Mod is installed, but I suggest it if you are interested in a nice magic themed gameplay style.

Im not bashing the people who created PMC, but the amount of programming for that would be ridiculous. You can do it with RegEx though. I have a chat filter that replaces all caps messages with lowercase using RegEx.

You can always join a server and get to know the community. If they like you enough, you might get picked as a moderator.

Theres applications for moderator of my minecraft server, but chances of getting a spot when you've only been playing a couple days are slim. Maybe if you were a rocket scientist and explained the secrets of the universe in your application I would reconsider.
