Gentopenguin1You are going to think I'm a horrible person for this and I admit this isn't a very nice thing to say but maybe instead of focusing so much on Jewish people Hitler should have let the Jewish be and taken out as many homosexuals as he possibly could I know he also attacked them and put them in concentration camps but he really should have put more effort into it.

Now I have avoided saying anything on this subject to avoid the nuclear fallout of anyone having a different opinion in America however......Gentopenguin1's comment brought me out of my lurking state solely to comment on this.

I have to say that in my 20 years of this fleeting life I have never heard anyone from a civilized society condone the genocide of an entire group/miniority of people....well except the Doctor destroying Gallifrey and the Daleks....twice but that is fiction and genocide should stay in fiction. *Cough* Tries to Lighten the Mood *Cough*

To hear someone in 2013 say that Hitler should have tossed the Jewish people aside and rounded up the gays and thrown them into concentration camps confirm my long standing belief that not only is America (my own country) a so called Civilized democracy the most intolerant country in this age but it also confirms another long standing belief that Americas educational system needs a major tune up.


I definitely agree with you that what penguin said was a true mix of ignorance and insensitivity, but I also feel that his comments prove a few things. Being a civilized democracy, the U.S has probably one of the most tolerant societies. I'm not sure what you're comparing it to, but just the ability to openly debate a topic in which one is the minority, in this case penguin, shows the degree of tolerance here. I would also have to point out that the flaw of the democratic system is that poorly educated individuals are given representation and power in their society, so of course there will be those with terrible opinions in a democracy because in many alternative systems those with bad opinions just wouldn't be allowed to express them. I do agree that the U.S' educational system could be cleaned up a lot, and I also agree with you that its always look at our own problems before looking at others, but the U.S is also extremely ahead of other countries in terms of tolerance, and always vulnerable in choosing democracy as a governing method.

Well there are a lot of moral stances for and against gay marriage, and I don't want to discredit those. Many people believe that equality is not something for the majority only and that every sexual orientation be given the same legal rights. There is also the other very popular argument that gay marriage should not be allowed because of its contradiction towards efficient procreation.
I personally think that the moral argument for gay rights is overused; it's not incorrect, but it is what is seen as the greatest asset towards gay right activists in bringing it about. The other argument that isn't focused on is whether or not it would be efficient or productive if gay marriage wasn't allowed. It is true that gays don't produce offspring, but then if society were to reject them for that reason, it would have to go further than marriage. Gays being open about their sexual orientation has a much higher chance of more individuals revealing themselves to be. If the ultimate concern is procreation and, then gay individuals would probably have to be purged. Saying that gays should be married because of the inefficiency of it really doesn't solve the issue of gays being unable to produce. And if a society was going to purge and remove gay populations, then the key difficulty would be in tracking it. Gay isn't a race, and it appears to occur throughout time in every society; so to pose the question of inefficiencies as a reason for gays not being allowed to marry doesn't really follow through if it is equally difficult and inefficient to create an entirely "productive" and heterosexual world.
In modern times, most Christian churches to their credit have come to accept gays as being allowed to exist; they're just continuously sinning and should not be given the rights granted to those who are following the church's preferred relationships. However, it's very easy to see that most individuals that follow this are diluting the original message that most religions would greatly prefer if gays did not exist. Now it isn't openly stated due to the extremity in Western civilization, but not wanting gays to be married, or considering it a sin is basically implying that the perfect world would be one without those who are not producing.
This was a wall of text so I'm sorry for that, but I just thought that using an argument about the inefficiencies of combating homosexuality would be a nice counter to the claims of the inefficiencies of homosexuality.

I've kind of expected it for awhile. With the riding pigs it seemed almost necessary to eventually put in a creature that actually brought purpose with riding it. Minecraft did eventually make pigs alittle better with the carrot on the stick, but it was still more efficient to just run than use a pig that required a saddle, and a lot of carrots and fishing rods.

I actually heard that a lot of people were more concerned with job than the debt issue, and I suppose this makes sense since having an income to live off of is probably a more immediate priority.

In the possibility that this owner wasn't scamming and the server legitimately needed 20 dollars, I'm just going to say from the point of practicality that if you can't handle a $20 bill for your server then I don't see you lasting very long regardless of if you had this month paid off. You're not going to get a server that is immediately getting donations, and you should be prepared to have to handle the bill yourself in your first few months.

I'm somewhat new to the whole pmc community, but I've been somewhat confused about the whole leveling system. I found all these articles on how to level up fast or leveling up easily by doing x y and z, but I'm sort of wondering why do I want to level up? Do i gain new benefits on the site or is it just for bragging rights? So if it hasn't been done already, and it maybe already has and I just cant find it, I would like to see additional benefits for leveling up that would make it feel more worth it to do so.
