The one thing no one has thought about is if Mojang bought Bukkit 2 years ago then why hasn't a Bukkit been made ready for the release of 1.8 as everyone knows including Jeb that a lot of servers use Bukkit and its plugins.
Vanilla is fine but adding plugins makes it more fun and interesting.
