this isnt a problem with the text packs, its a prob with the mods that is triggered by the text packs, try uninstalling the mods then using the text pack
i believe in 5 years it will have lost in touch. jeb will have tried too hard to compete with mod makers and will have ruined the game with too many complex and odd elements to the game. you can already see that happening now with bats. bats are useless and an annoyance. in 5 years minecraft will have last most of all its popularity because it isnt what it was in indev-alpha. it wont be about exploring caves, hiding in the night, surviving. it will morph into just another rpg game.
