The only thing i can think of, Could be something blocking the port/IP that PMC uses to check the status of the server, But i dunno.
IMO I prefer Minestatus over PMC's methods. It's much more reliable, and also allows for another place to post info about your server! (With voting/ranking support!)
[EDIT]: If at all possible, i'd also recommend avoiding use of Hamachi, or any other tunneling system, it's a lot simpler to forward ports.
If you must though, I also recommend Tunngle. It seems to be more stable than Hamachi. It's quite nifty the way they laid the UI out too.
