noobs, why u no take into account of current floating exchange rates if your on another country or want to make money that way.

If you are thinking about putting it away into a bank account, then you should match up the banks interest rates with your economies current inflation rate (measured in CPI where I live) because if you can get 2% interest on 1B then in a year you will have 1.02B but the inflation rate may be 4% and so the actual purchasing power of your savings will actually be less and so you loose 4% of 1.02B which is less than 1B.

And you must bear in mind that higher inflation rates is usually associated with high risk banks.
Also, banks use your money to spend on loans and other things and so the bank may not have your money to give to you if you try to withdraw it, especially in large quantities.

well... hopefully not another re-organisation of the texture pack -.- it's so annoying and difficult to keep up with soo many re formatting for texture pack developers

try downloading optifine and go through all of the advanced settings and try to set everything lower. By just installing optifine you should get better frames per second

AndrewRZ1710just swicthed over to ubuntu based os and now mc plays too fast. it's fine in single player, but I outpace the connection on servers and admins think I'm hacking. It does give me an advantage but I would rather play on even terms and not get banned from servers.

--edit I put all my settings on max but Im running a nvidia gforce 450, six core proccesor and 10 gigs of ram so that dosen't help much

are you sure that you just don't have an excessively high or low ping?

an iron pickaxe will normally destroy stone in about half a second. your framerate would have nothing to do with 'changing the speed' of destroying objects in minecraft. My minecraft runs at 100-160fps with no changes to 'speeds' so changing your framerate wont fix the issue (if there is an issue).

It may seem as though you are breaking blocks faster with Linux running becuase you may have been lagging on your previous operating system while running Minecraft ie (getting below 30fps) and the game may have 'felt' slow.

So in essance, Minecraft runs fine at any fps. fps of 30 or lower can make the game feel slower whilst fps of 45+ can make the game feel faster.

so first try pressing "F2" (if this works you will see your screenshot in the screenshot folder
press "function button+F2" (if this works you will see your screenshot in the screenshot folder

Alternatively you can hit the printscreen (located above the home button and labeled "prt sc") button if running windows. Then use an image editor (ms paint, gimp, photoshop etc) and hit paste (ctrl+v). The save your image to a file (ctrl+s)

if you have adobe after effects or cenimar 4D you can just google or youtube some templates and change them to suit your needs. (by the way, you could also benifit from a youtube background )

pshhh.. if this goes ahead then a lot of domains will shift their servers overseas so that they aren't bound by US law.
