    Hi,

Sorry to tag in on this thread but I'm having similar problems and don't know how to fix it. My sons literally squee'd when they saw the update and, while it worked fine on the first install, it has now decided to not launch beyond the white Mojang screen.

My open Gl version is 4.2, running Windows 8 on a 14 month old Samsung laptop. I have d/l'd the latest from Java (1.70.0_ 67) and the TB hard drive is currently running at about 45% of capacity. We play absolutely pure vanilla (if you discount skins and resources, of course! ) so no mod interference.

    What do I do?

Please? Help me make my kids smile again.

    Cheers!
