Help/JavaEdition Minecraft and Launcher stop responding when loading

It might be all the mods being in beta, have the ones you are using been tested for compatibility?

Not here to apply, though i just want you to be aware that self hosting doesn't always end well. I attempted this as well, and was ddosed within 6 hours of having the server up. If anyone asks you to sign up for something, be aware of them. IP ban someone that is suspicious immediately.

I think i've had this problem before. What solved it for me was going back to Java 7. Uninstall the one you have now (Probably 8) via "Uninstall a program" on Windows. Go the the website, and make sure to install an earlier version. Preferably 7. Then do a fresh re-install of your game by deleting your .minecraft folder. Once the game is re-installed, try running forge then.
