Honestly, I've had alot of pets die from various things, and unfortunately, its a part of life. I cried, moped about until i couldn't take it anymore and brought another kitty. I now have 3 fur-children (They act like children, they really do), and i love them dearly.
As long as you remember them, in your own personal memory, they are still there, so its okay. also, taking photos of your pets makes it easier, trust me. :3
