    my school went into a secure today (like a lockdown but the threat is off-campus) but like. before school started. so they just ushered anyone unlucky enough to be there before school began into random classes and we genuinely had to sit there doing absolutely nothing for, i kid you not, FIVE HOURS!! and my phone was on FIVE PERCENT!!! i just had to SIT THERE!!!! I DIDNT EVEN KNOW ANYBODY THEREEEEEEE I WAS LEGIT JUST SITTING IN SILENCE!!!! BROOO!!!

    they sent out texts to parents like "do NOT bring your child to school there is DANGEROUS activity in the area" and im just sitting there. like. dawg. and some kids just got to not go to school that day. i got home like a bit after noon because school was canceled since the danger was going on for so long. and these LUCKY LOSERS got to STAY HOME!!!

    I'm not gonna go on a full-blown rant because frankly I already went on one irl :

    misgendering, not using preferred pronouns, and using dead names are just wrong.

    I can understand maybe needing to get used to it, especially if that person recently changed genders, but if your intentionally using wrong genders and wrong pronouns and referring to a person with their dead name, your being trans-phobic, I don't care what your excuse is, the least you can do to respect who they are is using the correct gender term, preferred pronouns and their preferred name.

    Using a dead name wrong genders and wrong pronouns isn't just 'rude' is offensive and trans-phobic. I'm not gonna bring my personal life into this, but people have used the wrong pronouns or genders on me and some of my friends.

    This is wrong, we are living in the 21st century and we aren't 5-year-old
    Start acting like you know what the fuck your doing (if you misgender, don't use the right pronouns and use dead names intentionally).

    Don't be a jackass.

    P.S : "Slipping-up" isn't an excuse to use wrong pronouns, genders, and dead names.

    (and yes a real rant from me would not nearly be as clean or as short as this)
