As a long time player of Minecraft I know that this game is loved by its fans. While I never personally stopped playing minecraft there was a time where I wasn't social with it. I would play singleplayer alone and leave it at that. I wouldn't want to play with my friends at the thought of being "uncool" but now with the games resurgence and the new updates getting better and better I feel as though the game has come back to the core of what it's supposed to be. This game is supposed to be fun, but it isn't meant to be played alone. Exploring with friends and meeting new people, this game is meant to be shared, and Im mostly just glad that the updates are getting as much love as the players have, and maybe we can see future updates given as much effort as this one is, and I hope that this game can remain a social game where I can have fun, regardless of the how much time passes, and how many creepers blow up on me.
