To be fair I would no know but I do know that you can add & remove permission to your groups with essentials. Just find out what that 1 plugin in essentials is then remove it from your groups.

Instead of making a server yourself and saving your Ip address from other people knowing yours and to be on the safe side why not purchase one via Paypal? at least that way if you want a good performance server with a intel xeon processor (THE BEST) then your hosting will be amazing. as well as your server will run 24/7 if you purchase it.
