This is my first Wall Post, but I think it is important after my inactivity.

I've had quite a few things happen in between "posts" (content uploads). I've had a lot of personal issues to deal with (I actually made my last work in a freezing hotel where I was sheltering myself), and now I'm in "final" exam season. I had a lot of things happen that didn't let me be in the right state of mind to work.

And I already know what happens when I'm not in the right state of mind. For context, I was stuck in that hotel for weeks. It wasn't fun. I thought my second skin was fine and published it, but when I was back home I realised the disappointment it ended up being.

With that, and then exam season coming, taking a break was the obvious choice. When I'll be able to work again is difficult to say. I had actually started working on my next skin a very long time ago. All the major parts are there, but it's still very WIP and important details are missing; so I don't think I'll be able to publish it any time soon.

But it also made me question my "only-a-single-update" strategy. I know I somehow missed a few pixels on my first skin. I patched that a while ago, but I didn't publish it because of that strategy. And I can assure you, these are needed changes.

But with my second skin, it's not just a few missed pixels. No, it requires a lot of extra work. The problem with this is I don't know how many updates I'd end up publishing, if I keep finding problems post-publishing.

If I apply that strategy, sure, the next update will be a major update and will be something I can be even more proud of. But it also means, especially on the second skin's case, that most people will keep seeing my subpar work for the longest.

Considering how long of a hiatus I took already, it's clear I won't be spamming the feed like I worried. So I'm probably going to have to break that promise and start publishing minor updates.

That way, both I (because I still don't use my patched skins due to NameMC history concerns!) and people who find my work can use the latest-and-greatest now, and don't have to wait for the "very big" update, which I don't know when it'll come.

That does mean these two skins may have two updates instead of the planned one (or more, if I keep finding issues), but to be honest, I think the time gap between them will be enough to justify them. And for the latter skins, hey, if I take care of myself maybe I won't need to update them at all! Or only once, as planned.

I hope with this I was able to explain what was happening. I really apologise for the delays, but I haven't given up and I won't give up. I want to improve, but I need my mind to follow me on this journey.
