I think whoever get's it should stick to the style and feel of it and and not drastically change it up, they should just keep it updated and make sure it works with the latest versions of minecraft.
Ah I see, that's fair, 8x8 is can be quite restrictive, especially when trying to do detailing...
I always think that either 16x16 or 32x32 are good resolutions for "simplistic" style texture packs, as they also give you some more breathing space for details.
What I'm going to do is wait a few months until everything gets ironed out and to make sure that all my drivers will work with it. Windows 10 is looking good so far.
ThePixelPonyTry Linux. Windows is horrible. Try Linux once and you'll never switch back.
I have Ubuntu on my spare pc and I agree it is really good although the latest update (14 i think it was) broke the usb drivers so no usb drives work on it.. Other than the fact that most programs and games don't support linux, linux is quite good
Ok so few years ago when I was about 14 - 15 I was riding on one of these downhill bobsled rides. Like this one:
Click to reveal
And for some reason I decided to touch the side of the metal tube track while speeding down (I was going a fair speed), and my hand got caught under the little bobsled and the wheels sliced across the palm of my hand leaving a nice big deep canyon of a cut all the way across, It hurt like hell.
So me and my friends where playing on DayZ (back in the day) and my friend asked on the global chat as a joke "How do you go to the toilet on this game?" And someone replied with "Just squat and squeeze"
I remember years ago now (wayyy back in Minecraft Alpha) there was a map of 'The City of Rapture' from Bioshock 1 it was awesome! But I don't think that was on PMC.. It may have been on The Minecraft Forums.
The memories are flooding back *nostalgia overload*
Welcome to Planet Minecraft!! Hope you enjoy your time here
I agree I can't believe how big Minecraft has become, I remember playing about in Beta 1.4 and no one in my school knowing what Minecraft was and now they all know/play it!
