What encouraged you to apply?:


So many Minecraft servers are run by 12 year olds paying with their moms credit card. This server sparked my attention, because of its need for a professional staff team. I myself and very mature and professional to a high extent and I would enjoy working with others with the same mindset. I don't want to be a member of a staff team of a server with staff that are immature, "troll" their players, and make bad judgement calls while arguing with other players and staff. I want to become a part of something professional, and that is willing to put in the work to make something big.


What is your previous experience as a staff member?


Before I get into the servers I have staffed on, I will talk about my experience with actually being a staff member. I have good experience as all ranks, along with the basic commands most ranks come with. I have always enjoyed staffing because of the pride and dignity it brings, along with the ability to help out others, creating a fun, safe environment for players and staff. Now, for my servers. I have been head-Admin on a server before, and have been Co-Owner on another server. They were ObsidianCraft and TwisterMC, both of which got shut down. I was also the Head-Developer of Rapid Craft, managing the plugins and configuration files. I have once owned a server of my own, but shut it down due to insufficient funds. I have plenty of experience as a helper on one of my favourite servers, TEGCRAFT. Tegcraft was ran by a couple that I'm pretty sure was about 35ish years old. It was the most professional, enjoyable experience I had ever had. The Owners were old enough to be mature and put dedication into their server, and they put effort into hiring their staff, being sure they picked the best, most dedicated applicants. I was a "Trial-Mod" so to speak for about half a month before being promoted to a regular Moderator. It was a great experience because the staff members were all mature, and there were no disputes about promotions and abusing. I kept going up along the ranks till Head-Admin/Manager - which was about two months after the date I had applied. It was a great experience, and also a good learning experience. From working with a mature staff team, I learned better judgement, grew my charisma and it gave me a lot of motivation to strive and be the best staff member I can be.


Why do you believe you are more qualified to be the Staff Manager than others are?:


I have 5+ years of Minecraft experience, not to mention four of the five years were staffing. I am very professional, and enjoy working in a well suited environment that consists of everybody getting along, and having fun. I have very good judgement, and when I make decisions I am always positive that they are unbiased and fair for both players and/or staff. I have great charisma and motivation combined, topped off with a great amount of dedication and dignity with my rank and the role model it sets. I have great maturity, and I am a great role model that other players can look up to. I have great people skills and can communicate easily with other players and staff. I am kind and approachable, allowing any players or staff to ask a question or regard a concern knowing that they don't have to be scared or have a rank to ask a question.


Last but not least, why are you interested?:

I enjoy helping out the community of Minecraft. Though I don’t work with every server, I still love to be one of those people who will see a post on PMC asking for help, and I offer to assist for no reward. Its these kinds of things that make peoples day a whole lot better, and I really do enjoy being who I am, and doing this kind of thing. Though I take my job as a staff member seriously, I am playful and welcoming, and open to new ideas. My kind and open attitude allows me to be approachable with ease. The bottom line is that I enjoy being a part of something professional, and love to be a part of the community.

Why do you want this position - One time, a while back, I remember I was writing an application for a Network, and my mom came over. She asked me why I was doing this kind of thing, applying for servers. I already knew my answer at that point in time. Doing this kind of thing to me is like volunteering. You choose to work for no pay, but there is a reward. To see players come on and have fun. To watch other players enjoy themselves conversing with others, having a good time. To some people it seems dumb, maybe stupid, but to those who really understand what it's like to have that feeling. After you worked hard on something, and when it finally pays off, it's the best feeling to have. I have always enjoyed doing this kind of thing, and its not just for fun, or to screw around on the server. I do this because I enjoy being part of the Minecraft community, and doing this kind of thing just goes to show how generosity exists here in PMC, along with willingness to help out. As I have said above, I enjoy helping out the community of Minecraft. Though I don’t work with every server, I still love to be one of those people who will see a post on PMC asking for help, and I offer to assist for no reward. Its these kinds of things that make peoples day a whole lot better, and I really do enjoy being who I am, and doing this kind of thing. What do you think you can do for this server - I can do anything that is needed. Honestly! If something needs to get done, I can get it done. One of my strengths is that once I put my mind on something, I can get it done. And quick. Some assets that I can provide is my ability to work with anybody. I have a joyous and playful attitude, and this allows me to be open and approachable. Another is my experience. I have been staffing for 3 years now, and I have had a lot of time to learn about the elements required to run a server, such as maturity, responsibility, trust and loyalty. I also know all the essentials commands and what they can do. When it comes to plugins and how to use them, I am the guy to come to. I know how to use many of the essential plugins needed to run a server properly, such as Multiverse, World Guard, Core Protect, Plug Man, etc. I have run my own server before (home-hosted) solely for the purpose of experimenting with different plugins to expand my knowledge and my ability to be a good Co-Owner, all leading up to this one moment where the experience will pay off greatly. I can easily help search console for errors and have them fixed immediately, along with adding or removing or configuring any plugin. I am very loyal, and I will do my best to be on as much as I can be. I am also very responsible. If I make a mistake, I'm not one to blame someone else or try to hide it. I take full responsibility and do whatever I can to fix the situation. More often than not, others make mistakes too, and I will always be there to help and lend a hand. I can calmly deal with a situation maturely, without any need to cuss or bark orders. My experience and knowledge of staffing and ability to be open and approachable makes me feel like that one person that if you ever need to talk to someone, you talk to me. I am sure to provide my greatest ability to help out and to a further extent, make sure the server is running smoothly and everything is well.


What would you do if "you saw someone (Player A) pvping two people (Player B and C) and these two people are both faction members and he was hitting the one in front from 7 blocks away and hitting the one in back from tree blocks away at the same time - "Player A" Is obviously hacking, and if Player B and C were killed, I would first kill or freeze the hacker, invest him, and return the items that they lost by being killed by a hacker. After that has happened, I would immediately ban and give the reason for Hacking (I would also include the appeal link if we had one). Hacking is not fun for other players, and its very shameful that people play with hacked clients for their own enjoyment. It ruins the game for other people.

Can you make bukkit plugins - Unfortunately I don't have much experience with coding, though as noted below I can edit plugins that have already been made. I am going to start learning Java though in February, so I will be able to make plugins in about 2 weeks.

Can you edit plugins that have already been made - Yes. Editing plugins is very familiar and fairly easy to me.

Do you know how to install maps onto worlds with Multiverse-Core and Multiverse-Portals - Yes

Can you make custom enchants with the plugin CrazyEnchants - Yes, I know how to do this

Can you make custom bosses with MythicMobs plugin - Yes I have done it before.

Finally what is an FTP stand for and how do you use it - FTP stands for "File Transfer Protocol" and, server wise, you can use it mainly for transferring files.

I know this isn't part of the application, but I think this way you can know a little about what goes on in my life outside of Minecraft.

I am 14 years old, and am currently in grade 8. My parents held me back a year, which explains why I am 14 in grade 8. I have been going to a Spanish bilingual school since kindergarten, so I am fairly fluent in Spanish communication. I have also been playing hockey since I was 2, and I still play to this day. My hobbies include Minecraft, going to our local outdoor rink (ODR as we call it) or chilling with friends. I have also been taking piano lessons for a fair 4 or so years, until I dropped out for band at school.

Qualifications - I am familiar with all essential commands that come with a high rank such as Admin. This includes ipban, vanish, social spy, /whois command if an ipban is necessary, and much more. My experience from staffing gives me good knowledge about hackers and what kind of hacks they have, such as Jesus hacks, kill aura, fightbot, reach hacks, etc. I am also very responsible and mature. I know a lot of people tend to say that, but I have proven it many times over my 3 years of staffing. I can calmly deal with a situation maturely, without any need to cuss or bark orders. My loyalty is also another factor. I will always put my free time into being there for the server, even if no players are online. I have been playing Minecraft for a full 4 years now, and every day I play my knowledge expands with new information and skills to be used as a staff member. My experience and knowledge of staffing and ability to be open and approachable makes me feel like that one person that if you ever need to talk to someone, you talk to me. Why do you want to be Builder on our server : I love to build, and I want to share my passion with other servers such as this one. Ever since I got minecraft back in 2012 I have been building and building and building different and creative pieces.
Experience: I have been building since I first got Minecraft, as said above. I was a Builder on EnderMC, and Obsidian Craft, until both were shut down, Ender for a grief and Obsidian because of insufficient funds.
What can you do for the server: I can help build anything needed. A new spawn, /warp somewhere, anything you would need me to build
How active can you be: I can be on for 5-6 hours a day, for about two more weeks, then it will be 3-4 hours.

Hey there! My name is Connor. I am currently 14 years old, and I would love to apply for Co-Owner. My In-Game name is ShadyScorpion. How can I help with the server? Well, I have had Minecraft for 3 full years, ever since 2013. I can show maturity and a good level of responsibility when it comes to staffing. My reason for applying is to help the community, to help a new server grow. I know not all servers, and most servers don't grow to be as big as Mineplex or Hypixel, but I apply to help servers grow to be at least a decent size, and to help the Owner accomplish the main reason why they bought the server...to make it grow! I have a good experience with staffing, also owning servers. Believe it or not, I have actually owned 3 of my own servers! I can manage plugins, console or not, I know basic knowledge of FTP and my way around it. I can also assure players a fun time on the server, and give them a reputation that I hope can be known throughout the server. In conclusion, I believe I can help this server, and bring a good, mature, dedicated player. As stated, my whole job is to make a server grow, and thats what I'm going to accomplish here.

Hello LadyGenie! I am 14 and can solve your problems with Pex. I have owned a server of my own and have experienced the same problems every time, and figured out how to fix it. I have done countless work as a Developer, and I know how to manage plugins, edit config files properly, etc. This is all mainly learnt from owning my own server, so I know how you feel with these things
