Ironically not long after I made this post I got a large influx of players, our record now stands at 21 players online, and once again it's dropping

I used to have nightmares every couple of days, now I only have them once a month roughly.

My worst dream was one where this stuff that was like bubble wrap consumed my cousin and my dog, then I got lost in this weird maze that had faces on the walls

Drake_RavineAdd goals for your players, add something for them to work towards and they should stick around.


Our time based ranking system usually is good for that

Drake_RavineAs much time-consuming as owning a server is, putting the hours into it (lots of them) will get you good results. over 6 months, I've spent 18 days online on my server. I love being part of it, and I love introducing new players.

Continue to make friends, and be online more, and you may see a change!


I've been mainly using this technique, the only problem is that players start to leave very quickly if you go on holiday etc. For me at least.

No, I'm pretty sure they don't. They're a waste of ram, you also lose the respect of older players.

For me, personally, involving the community, talking to them, making friends, having a laugh, keeps your players and in some cases donate to you. I love my community, and being active with them is what keeps my Server alive.


I do make friends with the English speaking players and do all I can with the others. Maybe activity would help, I usually go on the server once a day for 1-3 hours, those are usually the times when people come on.

What would you advise? I've got many cool features on the server but nobody uses them as there is nobody TO use them..
