If you actually want to get back into minecraft, with projects in mind, then there are thousands of communities and servers out there! By simply taking a look through forums, there's an amazing amount of people recruiting for little servers (which I personally like the best, much more than large ones!); and whether you want to play survival or creative, peaceful or pvp, there are tons of each!
I was crazy about minecraft in middle school and early high school, and now, as a high school senior I'm going on and off around holiday times It's such a fun game, and there's always something to do! (That's partly why it's terrible that I'm playing it at such a busy time...)
So I recommend that if you have time to spare, find a server, make friends and memories. A lot of my best memories of middle school, which was a tough time for me, are from minecraft with close friends and people I met on an amazingly friendly medium-sized server called JR Craft, or on a private server between us.
