I'm 16, and I feel that once you've spent the same amount of time in this world, and living life, then you get make the same decisions, and treated the same way that everyone else. For example, a 12 or 13 year old should not be treated the same way a 16 or 17 year old should, and that's simple logic. If you don't agree with how 90% of people older than you think, you can't do anything about it.
A bit off topic, but if you're 8, 9, 10, 11, get outside, and don't waste your life on the computer. You need to mature more, and have some life experiences before you can decide to rot away on the computer playing video games. If you want to get a job doing web design, or software design, then that's fine, but you need to do everything in moderation(but chances are, if you're under the age of 11, or 12, you do not have the mental capacity or attention span to learn something like that).
tldr;
Don't expect to be treated like an adult if you're 13.
