Yeah, I was on a few forums years ago, and honestly don't remember how many I bothered to introduce myself on. Most of the time, you just go in and do whatever you signed up for in the first place. Here, however, it seems like I should be... dallying in things that aren't why I signed up. It's an odd form of advertising your content elsewhere on the site to talk to the locals.
Makes sense that most members don't do it, though. If I were just using this site as a host to hand off my datapacks to friends, there would be no reason for any of us to talk to anybody else on-site.
