Yea, I learned all this recently, when I became Staff on this server of my "friend's." This guy had made me do a lot of the shop signs at the spawn, which were a pain in the neck for me. I was generous so I did them for about 4 map resets... He then demotes me and switches my rank with someone else and says its "temporary", when it was permanent. I was being treated like a slave to do his work his lazy bum couldn't do himself. After about 2 months of being staff on his server, I quit. A lot of the content in your post is accurate for me. The players can be annoying, but sometimes its other things that make it not what you wanted it to be.
