Tbh what I don't like about the question "what would you like in the next update" is how people say what they want without think about it. I mean seriously flying pigs (for example) would be WAAAY to op and would ruin the game!
The things I would like to see are:
Uses for useless blocks (bricks, clay, etc.) (bricks used to look nice but as of 1.7 beta they look ugly)
New ores (the ores haven't changed since, what? infdev?) (also new ores add new possibilities!)
Dimension improvements! (The nether and end haven't changed much at all!)
(I think they should improve them before adding new ones)
And finally... a reason to explore (new mobs maybe, ores that only generate in a certain biome, etc.)
So yeah...
