Alright,
I know this is a sensitive subject, and many people will argue, but this is a discussion, and opinions will be shared. On the topic of opinions, here's mine.
I think its kind of odd how humans, by communicating, can hurt other emotionally just by saying words. It kinda makes you think how weak we really are, how damaged we can become, just by someone just like us saying some words. Now, I am in 8th grade, and I have been bullied, just as almost every other kid has, and whenever I am, I think of this, and it reminds me how its not that big of a deal, and that we shouldn't be so damaged by words. So, a lot of people are saying that they have been made stronger because they have been bullied. I think that that is a valid point, and maybe that's the purpose of bullying, maybe its some hidden human instinct or something.
Now, why DO we bully? It could be because we get bullied ourselves, and take it out on others, maybe we are just evil, and get enjoyment from seeing others pain? It could be many things, but it doesn't change the fact that we bully, nor is it an excuse for it. Maybe humans are weak emotionally as a species, and because humans tend to hurt each other, have found that weakness and try to exploit it. Well, I am going to stop writing, and if you did manage to read all of this very long post, and make some sense of it, just try to remember the point I am trying to make. I'm not sure how to put my thoughts into words on this one. If I came off as insensitive, rude, and obnoxious, Its not what I meant my post to meant, I felt that I had to say something when I saw this topic, and maybe respond, tell me what you think. I shared my opinion, and feel free to share yours, and remember you are entitled to your own opinion. And to all those who have been seriously bullied on this thread, Just advocate for yourself and seeking help is good, but in the end it is up to YOU to turn your life around and head in the right direction.
