*Why should we let you join: Builds are always better when there is a sense of wonder to it. People look at builds on Planet Minecraft and they just look at the screenshots and think "Oh, cool". It's that sense of interactiveness that gets people to press that download button. Something like that can't be captured by just a screenshot. I can bring this to the team. I feel like my redstone skills are good. I've created minigames, adventure maps, and even a small scale artificial intelligence!
*Why do you want to join: I want to get involved in Minecraft again. I love redstoning, but I lack motivation when I'm on my own. That's why I mainly play multiplayer. That is why I love teams such as this. People encouraging and bringing out the best in each other.

Redstone is simple to me because I have some knowledge of computer science. It all simplifies when you apply those concepts to redstone, which allows me to create such creations. I enjoy playing multiplayer, because I lose motivation when I'm alone.
