Okay I understand where your coming from but I find that I both agree and disagree with you. First I do think that Notch is drastically changing the game but that's not always bad. Though you must admit that you saw this coming a long time ago red stone the nether ect this stuff was a preview of what was coming. Now with fortress the Ender potions enchainment this game is really turning into an rpg. Yet that does not mean it loses it's core. Crafting and exploring will still and always be the center on minecraft. So if you feel that mine craft is just turning into another boring rpg well your very wrong. How many games let you battle the evil monsters of the night mine to your heats content. Does every new game give you a new never before seen world to explore. Does an rpg let you make an empire from nothing, then blow it up with a massive explosion? No minecraft will always be minecraft no matter the update
