i have dual moniters now but when i didnt it will drop my fps by 10-20 maybe this only happens on linux (i know alot of people are going to hate me for saying this but i hate windows and mac so i got a linux gaming pc)
i run a good 120 - 280 fps on very high settings one day its was running low like 60 - 110 then i noticed my peformance in settings was not on max fps i put it back on max fps and it was running normal again hope this helps!
ive read the book java for dummies and c+++ for dummies and learned there its not online but the book teaches you alot i started off reading that book and i learned how to code directly from their then i went to a school for that! hope this helps
