I feel like they are both good, it depends on if you want a realistic approach to the default textures, which is what Depixel is, or a scaled-up version of the same style, which is Faithful.
They are far behind because simular to 1.13, things were optimized. So now there is a different system than before. It should be fine though, it just will take a little while to adjust to the new system.
