But it has a lot to do with things like, how fast your computer starts up, and how fast your computer can render videos or images. But if you turned your options down, 1000 FPS isn't hard to get with the processor that he owns.

Judging by the fog, and how you can't see through the leaves, I would say he is on his lowest settings. Try setting them as low as he has them, then see if you get that kind of FPS.
