Sounds like a very ambitious and at the same time fun server restart 😄 The idea with a code "leak" is a really cool way to surprise friends and set the atmosphere even before the start. I once did something similar, and the reaction was extremely lively - at first everyone is nervous, but then they understand that this is part of the plan and a real fan begins. Plus, the economy, arena and unique mobs are already a level much higher than ordinary survival.

By the way, the casino theme is a really strong move. I had a situation when interest quickly disappeared on the server: players farmed resources and did not know where to put them, boredom set in. I decided to add casino mechanics, inspired by site online casino services and betting on games, and it really saved the situation. People got a new goal - not just to collect resources, but to take risks, win or lose. As a result, this closed the problem of "empty gameplay" and gave a constant drive, which is why everyone started to come in much more often.

The main thing is to correctly adjust the balance so that both newcomers are interested and old players do not become too easy. If you do everything correctly, you will get a server that will really drag and keep your attention for a long time.

An interesting idea for a map is an abandoned research station in a deep forest, where the player wakes up without memories.
From the first minutes, everything seems quiet, but gradually strange sounds and shadows begin to appear.
The main plot can be revealed through notes, diaries, and audio messages.
The further the player goes, the more he realizes that the experiments at the station have gotten out of control.
You can add a “watching” mechanic, where if you stare into the darkness for a long time, something starts to look back.
Light can be a limited resource, which creates additional tension.
Sudden changes in the environment also work great - rooms that change when the player turns around.
Without direct screamers, you can create an atmosphere of constant discomfort.
The finale can have several options depending on the player's actions.
For example, escape, acceptance of “something” or complete disappearance.
The main thing is to focus on the atmosphere and psychological fear, and not only on sharp moments.
