Frankly I'd have to disagree with every other reply so far. More blocks are fantastic and are generally welcomed by the Building community as a whole for their capacity to allow for a wider variety in building. Also the new stone blocks add a nice touch to the game, mining is more interesting without the consistent stone everywhere. Sponges will actually have a use within the game and as for how they look, though true that in default they are fairly ugly, Sponge is good in resource packs, often being used as thatch for buildings. But ah well that's all personal opinion. What wouldn't I want though? Probably more creatures or items to be added into the game that don't feel like they fit or are poorly designed aesthetically. I've never been a fan of some mod packs like Tekkit etc. that contain these entities and blocks. It becomes a bit too much for me personally.
