NronHere's an easy idea: Just deny them for their poorly put together character. You don't need a variety of different sub-clauses in order to get people to write decent characters. That just feels restrictive.

Name generators are in no way an indication of a persons creativity. If someone needs to use one to think up a name or perhaps get ideas for one then there's nothing wrong with using them. And seeing as most name generators seems to create more unique and interesting names than a number of players, I don't see the downside to using them.

The IC thread could stay yes. Nothing wrong with that. But this one can definitely go. Just copy over current character sheets and the OP and you'll all be fine.

No. It would be the same RP continued on a new thread so that new applicants and participants don't have to sift thru 70+ pages of applications, random garbage and the occasional drama post.

As this is the internet and in no way property owned by you, you have no 'rights' to this thread. I claim no 'right' to shut it down. I do however realize that if you plan to revive this RP, using a brand new thread for both the CS/OOC and IC aspects of the roleplay would be far simpler than using this one. It's a rather simple concept to grasp.

I'd be adding another three weeks to the release date every time someone asked if that was what I was going for.

Also you didn't tell me you applied to Colliding Fates. Shoulda told me. I'd have put a good word in for you.

Firstly, I'd like to state that I grew up with the Transformers as a kid. I was only 2 years old when G1 came out in the US and it was something I always connected with. That being said however, I've always found myself to be a bigger fan of Armada, mainly due to the portrayal of Starscream as less of a gibbering idiot and more of an honorable warrior who simply wants recognition, something recent animated adaptations seem to have forgotten was extremely popular with the fanbase.

Moving onto another tangent: The Micheal Bay films are horrendous. They aren't films about the Transformers so much as they are about the humans, something that should never happen in anything Transformers related. When you decide to have a 40 foot tall sentient mechanical construct take a backseat to an annoying 20 something year old and his supporting cast of even more annoying friends and family you've made a grave mistake. The Transformers exist solely to draw in fans of the old series and if you had taken them out of the films and replaced them with, say, a different alien race then there would be little difference to how the films played out.

I could go on pointing out all the thing's wrong with the films but I'd need about a page to myself to do so.

Mainly because for every unoriginal RP there are three original ones or unoriginal ones of high quality to counter it.

Here there are few original RPs, let alone high quality unoriginal ones. If we want better quality RP then you first need to crack down on the bland and uninspired ones. Once you've got a community who can create and maintain original RPs on a regular basis then having a few unoriginal ones crop up won't be a problem.

As for grammar, using a browser with spellcheck built in tends to fix that issue.
