1. Avoid highering prices of ranks to get more money if economy is instabile, it never works and creates future issues. Having a quantity of donors over quality is far better and more secure.
Where the hell did you pull this from? Sources? I don't think the price:number ratio matters that much.
2. NEVER advertise your server on other servers, nobody likes it.
True, it's pretty ineffective.
3. You need creative, something to give people a reason to not join Mineplex or HiveMC
True.
4. Custom plugins, Custom Website, Custom Art, you need a lot of custom stuff.
Huge misconception. You don't need to do this.
5. Professional staff, don't be their friend, be their boss. Make them work good, unless they meet the standards fire them.
Don't hire any staff except close friends in real life. If that means working alone, deal with it.
6. Never make donor ranks too OP, just making them is against the EULA, but i suppose nobody follows it anyways. But never make them much superior to normal items, that'll generate a really troublesome future with donors being the only active players.
I disagree. While I wouldn't like to play on a server with OP donor ranks, they are certainly a great idea to expand a server.
7. Spend money on advertisements, on MC server promotion websites and so on.
YES!
8. Get a proper host to ensure no lag
Bad bad bad. Host the server on your own machine or you'll be owing a lot of money fast.
9. Do not place too many gamemodes, start with one and slowly once you have around 30 players actively on, you may start another gamemode.
I strongly disagree. If you want to start a creative server, start a creative server. Keep gamemodes separate between servers.
10. I can't stress this too much, DON'T MAKE A REGULAR SERVER.
Once again, your server can be regular if you want it to be. Whether or not it is regular is irrelevant.
