    Alright. I see you're going for a more professional setup. Mine is just good enough for me to get what I want. Hope I've provided info for those who are interested in a budget system.

    For me, I still don't think it's safe to use win 8 for gaming. It's up to you really, If you personally don't have a problem with it, then go for it.

    I know little to nothing about Intel systems. I know more about AMD but still not enough.

    I went from using a laptop with an AMD Athlon 2 dual core 2.1ghz and integrated Radeon HD 4200 for gaming. 128mb equivalent videocard.

    I upgraded a 11 year old desktop that had an AMD Athlon 64 dualcore 2.1ghz or something like that. had integrated Nvidia 6050T or something. 64mb equivalent videocard. That upgraded desktop is now my new budget gaming rig. I'll be doing another overhaul once i get the money. New case, watercooling, an extra harddrive i have laying around. To bad its IDE so i'll need a PCI controller card for that. I plan on getting either a HD 7770 or HD 7850, but if i get the 7850 i'll need to jump to a 530watt psu or something.

    Yeah, they have something called "Classic Shell" I believe for Windows 8.

    The reason people say win 7>win 8 is because of the steep learning curve for windows 8. when windows 8 was released, like all new OS's, there will be compatibility issues. Games didn't work well on win 8 at that time. Give it time and windows 8 will support more games as game programmers will release patches and new games will have win 8 support. windows 8 is not the same as windows 7 since they use completely different architecture. The closest to windows 7 is windows vista which uses a similar architecture.

    If you don't want to learn a new OS, get windows 7. windows 8 was made mainly for touchscreens like tablets and ultra books.

    You also don't need a DVD drive. unless you have games that are already on discs.
    You can get almost any title for the PC online now. I didnt get a DVD drive for my computer because I already have a laptop, If i need a game off a disc i simply rip the image and put it onto a flashdrive then use Daemon tools to run the game from the flash drive.

    Also, I don't have much experience with this, but you could go with multiple hard drives. Maybe a SSD to put your operating system on, then a 2nd hard drive to store games, then a 3rd to put the videos on.

    I would suggest setting up a RAID 1 or RAID 5 with your video. If you have the extra money that is. What RAID 1 will do is mirror all the data on video hard drive 1 to video hard drive 2. RAID 5 will combine multiple hard drives as well as mirror all the data. In the event that a hard drive fails, you lose no data.

    I have a budget gaming PC I built for $300.
    Runs games at 1280x1024 like a dream. Medium to high settings, AA x2 if I'm lucky.
    I had all the peripherals and all I had to buy was a motherboard, psu, cpu, and ram.

    I have a MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 mother board.
    A10-5800k APU @ 3.8ghz, can OC to 4.2ghz right out of the box. Has no L3 cache sadly, but has 4mb L2. Quad core.
    8gb Corsair 1600mhz ram set in dual channel mode. (x2 4gb sticks)
    and a 430watt powersupply from corsair.

    If your upgrading from an older system, this setup here will cost you about $300 minus the operating system.

    It will play minecraft at about 120 fps on max settings. If you jump to a 32bit texture pack the fps will drop some, I find that the 64bit is a bit unstable unless you have optifine. The system records videos just fine, If you can manage 40fps in a game, it will record videos at 30fps I find.

    The motherboard has 1 PCIe x16 2.0 slot.
    The AMD APU is equivalent to a 512mb video card with an 800mhz gpu, which can be OC to 1200mhz I think (at least that's what BIOS said).
    Also the APU runs rather cool. I haven't gotten over 70 Celsius (at 3.8ghz with stock fan/heatsink) since I got it.

    For those who don't know the A-series line of APUs from AMD. APU stands for accelerated processing unit. It's a cpu + gpu processor, replacing the need for integrated graphics on the motherboard or the need for a video card. The A-series is being used in many smartphones, notebooks, and tablets.

    Also that motherboard I listed has Dual-graphics which allows for a similar video card, a Radeon HD 6670 as recommended by AMD, to be paired up in a CrossFireX setup.

    But if you plan to get this build and plan on upgrading later, like buying the video card months later, then dump the 430watt psu and get something more powerful like a 500watt or 600watt. The HD 7770 needs a 400watt minimum, and the HD 7850 needs a 500watt.

    I haven't had any problems with this build so I would recommend buying this if your a budget gamer and just need a PC to at least play the games. This setup is more than capable.

    Do I have any prior knowledge of being an admin: I do. I've been with minecraft for more than a year. I've run my own server for about a year. I've had a bukkit server of my own for about 6 or 7 months. I run my gaming clan's minecraft server now so I've quit running my own server. I have experience with mcmmo, factions, chestshop, nolagg, essentials, permissionsEX, iconomy, LWC, glowstone lanterns, and world edit.

    I understand I can be removed from the team at any time.

    As stated above, I have extensive experience with bukkit and plugin management. I'm also handy with world edit.

    The trick is making something they want to see. Focus on one area, tutorials for example. Make some of those. Get your viewer base up. When you think you have a solid amount viewers ask them what they would like to see. Viewers love having their opinions looked at and their suggestions made real. They will tell their friends that your channel listens to the viewers and your viewer base will grow.

    a good example is Mastermilo82. they may only post a video once every 2 weeks, but what they upload is ridiculous and they answer almost every comment on their videos.

    ok zeldastone104 and FCS1264. you 2 have been added to the permissions list and clear to join your special world on my server.
    just read the rules for my main server. and head down to the bottom of the spawn tower. theres a blue portal there with a door. just go in and close the door and you will be teleported to the world. once there you can follow your own set of rules.

    well if u've got the resources. my server is empty most the time. i just put my server on planet minecraft yesterday and there were maybe 8 ppl. since then its only been my old players from hamachi. so only about 2 to 3 have been on at once today.

    Pledge likes the server since there's no lag. and i'm upgrading my ram in the next couple days. soon as the part comes in.

    good job lol.

    oh Pledge. uhh do you want your group to have the same commands as my players. right now they do. so they have a good ammount of access to essentials, glowstone lanterns, and factions. of course they can travel to the other worlds. no one is allowed to spawn anything though.

    to be honest. game recording and real life video recording are 2 very different things.
    real life you need to steady the camera and make sure what you want is in the shot.

    with game recording all you need is a good computer that can record 30+ fps
    with medium graphics on minecraft i can get about 20fps while recording. though when fraps goes to save the 4gb segments it lags and frame rate drops to 10fps or lower. (fraps saves its videos in 4gb segments, doesnt matter how long it is). and if you watch yogscast not everything is in the shot but you see they do just fine.

    well thats awesome too. wouldnt hurt to have 2 servers incase one of them goes down.
    but on my end, everything is set up perfectly. worlds are seperate, inventories are seperate, the chat is seperate. so pledge's team can record their videos in peace without be troubled by my other players. AND his team will be the only ones able to access their world.

    just thought i'd let u know Pledge. everything is setup and ready to go.

    Pledge, about the server. the multi world is running perfectly fine now. so if you want to come in and see how it all works. i can gurantee your team will not be bothered by my players while on the server.
    and if they want they can leave your special world and come join the other players on survival or creative.

    i had completely forgotten to get a chat plugin. essentials chat will do what i want, its just that when i enable the feature it breaks the factions name thing.

    im looking for another chat plugin that will filter out world chats.

    might be a problem with elemtal arrows. thought i've never used any of those mods. has this just recently started happening or did it start happening after you installed those mods? and are you playing on a server? can you recreate this problem in singleplayer?

    try installing one mod at a time. then find out which mod causes the problem.

    i'd say its fine. maybe a little more glow on the text, like a soft glow might make it better. and it's a tad bit hard to read. can you maybe change the tears in the text a little?

    also try adding a background. go ingame and take a screen shot of something. then slap it into the background.

    lets see... i can possibly host a server for you. i have my own server that's been running for about a year now. i can also host a teamspeak server as well. i have it all setup, i just run it on another computer that doesn't run 24/7 so i just run the TS3 server when it's needed. i have experience in both fields. if you need the server i can run another one on a seperate port or if things get to laggy i'll close down my main one.

    or we might be able to via multi world. i can block all chat from other worlds and we can all play on the same server as my other players, just on a different world.

    uhhh yeah the game will run fine without the meta-inf folder.
    as long as you don't update the client. you're fine. besides updating the client means that the mod will be gone as well.
    if you need help installing the mod i'd be more than happy to help. i have experience with installing mods.
