oldmanNickersonSorry about that. Here are the images that I uploaded to tinypic. They look pretty strange in planet minecraft, but I hope you can see what they generally look like.

*if you press your mouse button on one of the images below and drag, it will actually show what the full image will look like.

Hi, I'm speaking on behalf of the team when I say, "Thank you for the application, sadly I don't think you reach our standard. Go ahead and learn more, and then come back!"

What do you mean by learn more, and then come back? I can upload more pictures if you want, if you simply think that the builds are not good enough, then I understand.

    Building skills 8!
Building style: terraform or modern, but I am also good at medieval builds!
Why to choose me: even though I have not released many builds to the public, you can check out my competition entry for Dragnoz's minigame. Also I will post some things I have built down below.
What I can do for the team: I can build and help build stuff with the team. I am a moderator on a server so I respect people and am not a distraction or an annoyance. One reason I want to join this team is because you did not ask for a skype name, which I am not allowed to have. This limits me from joining a lot of stuff on PMC.

Here is a few things I have built in the past:

if you want to see more I can post more, and if these do not load, simply highlight the URLs that are there and paste them into your search bar.

Am great at redstone! (Command blocks in general). Kind of strange, actually. I used to find no real use for redstone and then one day... Poof! I became good at redstone!

minigame... if it involves chopping trees is it a survival minigame? (Not to be confused with just surviving).

This is good for people who want staff. One of the most annoying things about owning a small server or just getting started in managing a server is people who log on, see that there is practically nobody else on the server, say "hi", and almost always the second thing they say is "can i have op?".

oldmanNickersonminecraft was meant more for windows 7 and down.

What? Who said that? Are they 6? Minecraft was build in Java, and Java is on every OS, and Java updates for every new OS, and Java for Windows 8 is faster, which makes Minecraft faster...

@OP, I prefer Windows 8.1, because it's smoother, faster, and I like how it looks. It runs games faster too. Like in BF4, Windows 8 got a 5-25% performance increase. (depending on hardware too)

no I am not six... And that is really not what I meant. I took a look at some of those windows 8 vs windows 7 articles and its what all people said, minecraft runs better on 7. I do not believe them (not to mention that I said that I was for win. 8). And yes I know mc was built for java

I will also be soon posting a gameplay footage of some of the new features of the map (without spoiling anything) to get more people interested in submitting a build for it.

I do not know why you need java on your server, as I have owned a server before. To enable bukkit and add plugins you must go into your server control panel and select craftbukkit 1.7.9 (latest version). Based from the server experience I know you need some program to configure your plugins although this might be different for other server hosts. I use filezilla. You drag and drop plugins you have downloaded off the internet into the plugins folder and restart your server. Hope this helped.

I have a windows 8 toshiba I think its better than windows 7, although some people say that minecraft was meant more for windows 7 and down. Personally I think windows 8 is better, start button is cool and stuff but also it is easier to access files from your computer.

I believe it is supposed to say that. For starters, by putting /testfor @e[type=Arrow] into a command block, you are testing for an arrow anywhere in your world. If you are testing for a specific location, try putting /testfor @e[type=Arrow,r=6]. Just change the radius to whatever. Also, you need to connect your command block to a redstone clock, so that it is constantly testing for an arrow. If it finds an arrow, it should say "found arrow" in your chat, and it says the entity UUID is invalid if it does not find an arrow. Also you should put a comparator on the side of the command block for a signal if it finds an arrow. Hope this helped .

I would most definitely apply as a builder / terraformer if I had skype, which at the moment I am not allowed to have :/. I have steam chat but I guess that is not good enough as it is harder to talk. If its enough I can send my application as I had experience in the past building but if not I understand.
