Well, there is a good range of games for Vita, however, not much. Besides being able to play PS3 games on the go, the are smaller discs, making them hard to come by now with the PS4 being out. The New Nintendo 3DS, however, is different. You can play all 3DS/3DS XL games on it, along with it having the same feel and height, weight, and width of an XL. This, and it gives to ammibo support, a new "C" stick, and colorful buttons. All in all, I'd say go for the New 3DS. You're used to the 3DS XL feel and mechanics, and you can transfer your Nintendo Network ID to it as well. But this is just a reference because you know the XL.
