    3 years.
    3 years now that I have been on Planet Minecraft!
    I remember last year that I forgot to announce my 2nd birthday on the site, lol.
    When I started on this site, I was so bad at shading, but I think I've really improved since then... especially during my second year on the site, where I reached my current level.
    I don't know what I will be able to do to improve during this third year on PMC. Maybe start my bird beds again? Post more regularly?

    Anyway, thank you to everyone who is on this platform, PMC has a great community and I hope to continue having good times here for a long time to come!

    Hello everybody !
    I am announcing that I have changed my PMC username.
    (It's me, Rosa7894)
    I've been wanting to do this for a while now... and now it's done!
    --Why did I wait so long?-- Because I was too lazy to redo my banner and profile photo...
    --Why this change?-- So that my PMC username is the same as my Minecraft nickname.

    Wow, I really feel like I need to take notes sometimes.
    I had three skins that I was supposed to post, in addition to the other five that I had mentioned.
    One was supposed to be a Halloween skin for 2023. Oops, I forgot to post it... well it will be for Halloween 2024.
    And the other two... that's the big problem, I completely forgot what I wanted to do, I hadn't done them in advance and I didn't mention it anywhere xD

    Notebooks are (if not indespensible) highly recommended for anyone doing any kind of creative work…

    It can be surprisingly hard to recapture that great idea one had while wainting in line, driving, or otherwise occupied.
    Something that fits easily in a pocket of whatever one commonly wears is recommended.

    (Also keeping a doc open [​Notepad++ or similar] while using the computer can record ideas as they occur while browsing.)

    In both cases adding a date/time to each entry can be helpful when one needs to find something…

    I plan to get back to being a little more active on PMC... I already have several skins made in advance, which I could post very soon.
    But also... I'm going to start making skins representing characters from certain games I play. The majority of skins I made back then came entirely from my imagination.

    In this year's mob vote, there is a penguin...
    penguins are birds.
    The crab seems much more useful to me... and I know it's stupid to prefer something for its style rather than its usefulness...
    But being a bird fan more than anything, I sincerely hope the penguin wins, even if I wouldn't vote.

    I put small red fruits on my land to attract pine grosbeaks and corn with wheat to attract snow buntings.

    If I don't manage to attract one of them before the end of winter, I'll be like this: 😭

    They can sometimes be invasive in cities...
    But on my land there was only one male sparrow last year and a female sparrow today.
    Apparently when they are very numerous, they can disturb the birds at the feeder... but I would still like a photo of this bird.

    It's been a year since I've seen a Northern Cardinal...
    Two days ago I dreamed that I saw one.
    Today I see one in my conifer, very briefly.

    Unfortunately I was out to fill my feeder at the time so I couldn't take a picture :(

    Birds have food brand preferences.

    Before, I always bought my suets with the same brand and the birds loved it, all the birds went there and rarely went to feed on the sunflower seeds from my other feeders.

    Now: I bought my suets from a different brand. 15 suets. The birds don't like them, they prefer to go to the sunflower seed feeder. Even the woodpeckers! Only blue jays go in the suet but that's only because they're too big to go in the sunflower feeder.

    I had said in a previous wall post that my cat was at the end of its life.

    The miracle happened, my cat, which I thought was at the end of its life, survived and was cured. She is now as lively and healthy as before.
    I am so happy and relieved!

    In fact, I don't really know what she has...... she still has his energy, she's not injured but... his basket is covered in blood. Before, she had strangely put on weight, but there, she suddenly became as puny as before.

    today I wanted to go play on Minecraft servers and I can't, did I am the only one having this problem?

    I haven't been very active in my group or on my account lately... and I think I know why I've been so lazy lately. (Because well, it may seem strange but I didn't know too much myself... I just don't feel like it.

    I think summer gives me more of a taste for going outside, enjoying the good weather... instead of going on PMC.
    Even for Minecraft, it must be well over a week that I no longer play ... while I love Minecraft!

    I understand perfectly. PMC...it's fun, but there are other more exciting things...especially after spending a lot of time on it.

    And yes, Minecraft's new security system is annoying, it particularly bothers me since I spend almost all my time on Minecraft on servers 🙄

    I'm out of player skins to make! (For the moment)

    I'm going to continue to make mob skins while starting to improve my old player skins which... well, are really not very nice 🤣 Like there, I updated one of my favorites, my skin called Zozem who may not be old but whom I hadn't really succeeded in.

    But good news, requests for player skins are now open to everyone 😉

    Last year, I was friends with two chipmunks on my property. When they were hibernating, I started feeding the birds. When the chipmunks came out of hibernation, they started emptying and demolishing the feeders. My friendship with chipmunks? Gone. Now getting rid of them is hell, I've tried everything to get rid of them, nothing to do, it's impossible. Now I have no more birds on my land because of them 😭

    this chipmunk demolished my feeders and emptied them nonstop. Because of him I had no more birds on my land and that deprived me of a lot of fun.
    In fact, I don't like rodents at all, because a weasel once killed my adorable hens, which I loved all so much :(

    But if it was another animal that wouldn't have done anything bad to me in my life, I would agree with you.

    But today, after making this post, my misfortunes are gone... a wild cat has been there. I watched him all day and at one point... I see him with a chipmunk in his mouth. I'm so happy, problem solved 😺
    After two or three months... it was time!
