    Hi _coolness_!

You asked Namez for a good SSD and I figured I can contribute to your build with some experience I've had with SSDs. Currently I'm running two Samsung SSDs ( Samsung SSD EVO 850 500GB) separately (for almost 1 1/2 years). These guys runs smooth and with incredible speed. IF your budget affords it, you should get the 120GB version (Samsung SSD EVO 850 120GB) for obviously your OS and games you mainstream.

PRICE ATM!: Amozon has 44% off! (56 USD/w free shipping)
Samsung SSDs is/has been acknowledged to be some of the best SSDs in the world!

Well, it's easy finding good parts for cheap prices. Picking parts that works perfectly and seamlessly with another is a whole different story that you (OP) should take in consideration before buying.

    I agree with you Magicman88999.

Dog_ Sword289 requested help allocating more and as far I can see he did not request a war between two factions yelling at each other what's best to use. As Dog_Sword wrote he has 16GB of RAM at his disposal. He can do well without a bit more for other tasks bur as I belive he launches Minecraft to play it and does not need it to anything else in that moment.

I have the exact same specs as you Dog_Sword289 (at least those you wrote) and I can therefore probably give you a good idea how to solve this. I personally use Magic launcher to allocate more and it's also super easy to set up and use. Download it here:

    http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/ma ... ds-options

Put it on your desktop so you can easily access it.

    Run it.

Before logging in go to setup.

    Go to advanced...

and just fill in the number of MB (note MB, not GB) you want to allocate in the specific box. Then run like normal minecraft!

NOTE: You have to run Minecraft through Magic launcher but it's just the same. Only difference is of course the launcher so any conflicts with Minecraft versions does not appear.

I hope this will solve your problem Dog_Sword289.

    Good luck!

My best minecraft memories are from beta 1.7.3. God, the world gen was so beautiful...

simple but fun. Minecraft kinda lost it in 1.8 but I believe Mojang is now on track with a beautiful world gen again and the option to downgrade to older versions. The actual ingame is really great! It has this Minecraft feel again.

I suppose that minecraft is the game you want to play, I would recommend to go for an Intel CPU (i5, great quality and not too expensive). I've heard some nasty things about AMDs CPUs. If you want to record properly I'd go for a GTX 660 2GB (or Ti). The choice of graphics card gives you some more juice so you can use shaders mod and other fancy stuff but also to give you smooth FPS in vanilla.

I agree with dorro123's choice of RAM capacity (but more is always better and I would recommend buying a Windows version that supports 16).

Of course better specs will give you a better performance but this is as always a matter of budget since most of us don't have unlimited money. GTX 660 gives you good performance for a small amount of money. If you ever want to upgrade you can simply buy another and use SLI (I know some will suggest buying a new one but GTX 660 is soooo cheap for the quality it gives you!).

    Good luck!

I can build your spawn, depending on theme. I'm most familiar with medeival types but can build most things! Right now, I'm working on my own project but I can work with several at the same time, but I'll prioritize your spawn

Got a good idea for it!
What tools will I have access to, beacuse voxelsniper would be handy to have?!
Based on your name, are you from Sweden?

If so, I recommend using two EVGA GTX 680 4GB each, overclockable. These will cost you around 500 euros but since you use 3x 1080 monitors, you'll have to pay some more than 300 euros if you're going to play next-gen on highest res.

There might be better options, but these are good (I don't know if they fit your power supply)!

Can't say that Minecraft is dying. It's made for all ages, and the modders keeps people playing. But it's past it's "glory days". Minecraft has become too realistic and the world generation is crappy compared to 1.7.3 (beta). I bought it in early beta and I've followed Minecraft's development more than others. Downgrade and see beauty!

1.7.3 Beta was the best version of Minecraft in my opinion, thanks to the beauty in minecraft!

What kind of work/art/games are you playing/doing/making? Of course a good gaming video card works well with cinematics and things like that, but if you don't play next-gen why torture you're wallet without reason?

Will you be using several monitors or just one?

I think you can find a GTX 770 2 GB for around 300 Euro

No SSD disk? You can buy a samsung Evo series w/120GB for your OS, BF4 and other heavy games. Other things you can put on your ordinary hard drive.

It's about 130 USD in my country

Someone should do a site or page in pmc to warn people which servers that are just faked up. People write comments about the servers so you can see if they are serious or just troll. It would be useful at least for me

You're right. My last post was fuzzy. What I meant was that buying a computer for around 1500-2000 gives you something that lasts for many years. But you're right, my post was fuzzy and crappy sorry

For 500 - 600 USD you'll just get a shitty laptop worth nothing, sorry. Windows + laptop= 6 months use then just dead.

I would save money to a monster around 1000 or higher(1500). This gives you good stuff for other games as well and manages far more than just six months! (I bought mine for (1300USD) 4 years ago and it still runs fine (bf4, skyrim)

I'll actually buy a new one because my brother will have this one and I an even more expensive (2400USD) I'M NOT RICH, I JUST BUY COMPUTERS THAT LASTS! I BUY NOT OFTEN BUT QUALITY STUFF! People often think that this is too expensive, but think again! It's a gaming computer and it's the same price for a MacBook pro!

I recommend to not use laptops though it'll be hard to upgrade this. I also recommend to BUY a gaming computer. This is cheaper in Sweden, I don't know the prices in the US.
Good luck with your gaming! Hope this helped!

Oh, I meant the video card (but if the video card only has VGA, I'll probably be pretty shitty anyway).

Oh about the core, don't use i3, though your upgrading choices will also be HIGHLY REDUCED! Use at least i5, you'll don't need i7, not a such big difference.

I agree with Kaev about the RAM. I don't think you'll need 7 fans to cool that stuff, but as you posted in the last forum, you'll be upgrading, so a good choice. BUT, (IMPORTANT) I went to cooler masters site, and I think there's only VGA on this case. If so, you're graphics will be HIGHLY REDUCED!!!!!!!

I don't know if I got it right, so be sure it has DVI or HDMI (latest, not mini)

    Enjoy your PC gaming Experience!

Hope you found my post helpful, because I only want to help you !

I don't know what games you're playing. Is it/will be high graphics and demanding games or is it simpler games like minecraft? If you're going to play games like Battlefield 4 you'll need SERIOUS upgrades (no offense). You won't come far with that processor or graphics card and I strongly recommend to buy something so you can upgrade in the future!

    Ex:
I can run Battlefield 4 on medium quality Online with this:
    Windows 7
    Intel quad (4) core i5 @2.8GHZ each
Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 (graphics card)
    12GB RAM (Corsair)
I got two Fans (don't know which type though, but they are good)
Don't know which motherboard, probably intel
    1 TB hard drive
This was a monster 4 years ago........ not now
