I know a great server which is PVP and Raiding OPTIONAL and has lots of Minigames, a friendly community, good and helpful staff with non-intrusive nametags and a lot more. Simply join and ask anyone who to get "Peaceful" and within max. 24 hours you will get a good, non-pvp experience in the same world as the PVP'ers and lots of other stuff. The server's "no greif" too!

Also, those complaining Minecraft doesn't work on Windows 8... Use common sence and get java from java.com -_- Then it will work perfectly...

Windows 8 is better once you are used to it and know how to use it. As well as that, boot time is half in Windows 8 (about 15 sec max.) and Windows 7 it's about 30 sec max.

Experience (Don't lie because if I feel it's to much you wont get it): Owned a server for over a year. Makes use of both Spout and normal Minecraft.
Plugins you have made or worked with (Include link): If I include links the post will be soooo long but ones I've worked with are over 40... Essentials, SpoutPlugin, Screenshot (for spout), factions, mcmmo... the list goes on and on...

Other: Without me it's likely your server won't be as interesting nor unique compared to others. I'm the one that make servers better or different at least.

It helps when you list all the plugins for us so we can find out what is causing the problem quicker.

Welcome! And cool. When will the book be done? BTW you should also include BiomesXL mod as well to show off the landscapes the game can generate alone.

Spout = Amazing. I made my server a Spout one and added a plugin to allow users to play their own songs from their PC so anyone within range could hear it.

Tekkit = More like a mod pack.
