This thread is long dead, but I'd like to post on here one more time to thank everyone who came here and listened to my music. I've gone from a mediocre experimenting musician to a professional rock artist. Today I'm an accomplished singer with 8 albums out, a video game score under my belt, and 6 live shows and counting.

I'm biased considering a lot of my friends are dubstep artists (and I dabble myself), but that said, indie dub is best dub. For people who only listen to this big names, take some time to check out the good stuff:

So, one may ask, what have I been up to? Well, the answer is simple. ALOT.

Now, I am going to respond to a question asked about a month ago:


xphalconhow do ppl make dubstep music? its my fav kind <3


Dubstep is actually not very complicated. It's made of a simple combination of synth lines, basic chordal patterns, a drop, some WICKED wobbles, and usually just toggling back and forth between elements from there. Dubstep can really be made in alot of different ways, but the way I make it is using the VSTi "Massive". It's what most dubstep artists use to create wobbles. I make synth lines and chord patterns in FL Studio just as any other song I make, and then combine them with wobbles, samples, and a chill-inducing drop to give the song the real dubstep vibe. The secret of dubstep, really, is in the beat. Almost all dubstep songs have the same basic beat structure, and that's what gives dubstep its signature sound.

Awesome! The guy who made this is a really cool guy, he's gonna be making a music video for my upcoming collab with Omnipony called "Monster". Making the video sync to the music like that is HARD. I've tried.

I am so busy right now... AND LOVING IT.

Here is EVERYTHING I'm working on right now:

A remix of "Winter Wrap Up". *brohoof*
A remix of my own track "Worlds Collide".
A new dubstep track called "Haunt Me".
A new progressive house track called "One More Second".
Pre-production for a new album and a new duo band between me and my girlfriend.
A collab song with Omnivore (Omnipony) titled "Monster".

And... *gasping for breath*

A THEME SONG FOR A VIDEO GAME. *collapses*

So yeah, I'm pretty busy right now, but I'm loving it! Being a musician is my passion, and I love being able to dedicate my time to it. It rocks, and thank you guys so much for your support! Because of you guys I've been able to reach out and gain a somewhat significant fanbase recently, and it's enabling me to spend even more time on my music. You guys are epic!

I'd be a redstone torch. I'm not easy to work with, and I'm not always very bright, but when you give me a chance I can make things work that no one else could.
